Newborn, 1 through 6 I believe, then pulls up come in 2,3, 4 but it is best to go by the weight of the child and what the diaper covers. I find size 3's vary from brand to brand so check on the size on the box based on what the wieght of the child is at the time.

There is a preemie diaper, newborn, size 1, size 2, size 3, size 4, size 5, and size 6. So that makes 8 sizes of diapers. The pullups come in lots of sizes too. There are s, m, l, xl, and then the ones for older kids who wet the bed. Those come in s, m, l, and xl.

Actually the number size is just a way of grouping what ACTUALLY matters: your child's weight. If you look on the packaging, each size is assigned a suggested weight. So, buy the diapers or pull ups based on your child's weight and level of comfort. If you are basing the numbering on when you should start to potty train, then you are doing it wrong. You should consult with your child's pediatrician about when the time is right for your child and ask them for tips as well. Some children learn faster than others. Hope this is what you were looking for... Best of Luck!!!

There are about seven diaper sizes, but you can go to pull ups whenever your child is ready. My daughter only went to size three and then straight to pullups. Granted she was small, (she is 4 now and only 30lbs) My nephew on the other hand is a year and 26lbs and in size 5. So all in all it depends on your babys size and whether they are ready for potty training! Good luck!
