yeah, before they released their hit album dookie in 94 they were on this
really really cool lable called LOOKOUT records in Berkeley. Rancid was alos on LOOK OUT
you should check out the other bands too.
Dookie came out when i was 16 so it holds a special place
with American Idoit i was blown away at the maturity, fun and quality of the album
American Idiot to me will in music history be seen a thier major work. And maybe inspire more of the Social consious punk (/pop) that punk had during the 80's

I also listen to country though. So any1 who says that the only people that don't know who Green Day is, well that person can come all the way to Michigan and kick my white girl ***!!

who has'nt heard of greenday? i mean, the songs came on all the time on the radio!
and unless people who r like country, or dont listen to today's kind of music (they r REALLY missing out!) they prolly hav'nt heard em.
