There have been volcanoes, tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, pretty much everything bad that could happen has happened there in 18 months. What's the deal?

that's just nature... inevitable and that was supposed to be natural. Just like Japan and it's earthquakes, or US with it's tornado!
I think that man made disasters (like bombings & wars) are more tragic than any of that. Tragic because man actualy has the power to stop that.

There have been volcanoes, hurricanes, floods, riots and pretty much everything bad that could happen has happened in the US in the last 18 months too.

Why doesn't that scare you?

When you take a huge part of the Earth's surface such as the US or Indonesia then of course there will be floods, volcanoes, earthquakes and hurricanes in any 12 month period.

That's NORMAL.

I no way does the phenomena in Indonesia scare me due mostly to its geographical it is bound to experience more forms of disaster than other areas.

because of its geographical location. remember those are islands surrounded by water. so it is bound to get hit with a lot of natural disasters.
