she is very small now.i have had her for two days.she is gray now.what color are most females?

she looks kinda silver and magenta and now i give her betta food to enhance color.how long do u think she will live?

She might get slightly bigger fins, but the color rarely changes. She will never have the long flowing fins of a male. Some females are fairly bland in color. You might try feeding her a betta food intended to enhance color, but that will not help if the fish just doesn't have any color. My 3 females are blue, mostly red with blue fins, and white with a couple of black marks.

Hey I'm a owner of a Male Betta and it is really beautiful. i just got it a day ago and when i looked for a female because my cousin had a male and if the could mate we would have a fish family but the females were dull colored i asked the pet owner if the females came in other colors but they didn't here is a picture of three female Betta's one of the colors might turn out to be your fishes but not the fins so I'm going to give you a picture of the male k. and don't worry your fish will turn out to be fine and beautiful

That's what female beta fish look like. They don't really change. It's the males that have lots of color.

Don't put a male & female in the same tank. I did that and Brutus tried to kill Juliette. I finally separated them, she actually had sores on her head. Months later, she committed suicide. :(

no she does not i used to breed them only the males look good. and the male ate the females tail. they are very aggressive fish

no because males r the prettiest females r just there to have males so ppl can bi them sorry mayb oneday if thats what u want me to say

no. only males grow the pretty tails and fins. females look like minnows ...only a little bigger.

she wont grow pretty but she will grow big i have a pretty big one now she is really fat too. i have a gray one too but hse has red fins
