In a nutshell, Liberals have made everything in society a subject of controversy, so that you can't find a common consensus about anything anymore. That makes society impossible to function.

Liberals are destroying the fabric of society. If you pull at it in every direction, it will unravel.

Children should be given Civics classes. The problem with our whiny, self-indulgent society is that no one realizes the responsibilities of democracy that go hand in hand with their rights.

Too many people have a very warped view of how ultra important their "rights" are, completely oblivious to the fact that a society cannot function if everyone makes a huge fuss out of every silly, inconsequential thing that doesn't suit their particular preferences (hear that, ACLU??).

When everyone can be deprived of seeing a beautiful, traditional Nativity scene because of one ignorant complainer, society loses. These people confuse freedom of religion with freedom FROM religion (exposure to religious symbols, which could only offend the most self-indulgent, self-important whiners).

So, civics classes can teach people to be more responsible and less selfish. It can bring interest to their history class, so they will understand the meaning behind the events they are memorizing for the test.

I'm not sure I would call what they do "evil." Naive, yes. Idiotic, yes. They enjoy all of the freedoms that this country has to offer, but I guess they think these freedoms came over a talk one night with the British, or the Nazis or the Japanese. These freedoms came and stayed with us because war was the ONLY answer. No one WANTS to go to war. Sometimes it really is the ONLY answer. You can not convince a Liberal of that fact. If we had not stood up and fought back in the 1770's, we would all have a British accent. If we had let Pearl Harbor be just another day, we'd all be eating sushi. And if we had not stormed Omaha Beach, on June 6, 1944, those of us who survived Hitler, would all be speaking German. I can pretty much count on what the Liberals think of what I wrote. They will find fault. That is not evil. That is exercising freedom of speech...which by the way was not given to us by the British. We had to fight for it.

I'm sorry but I wouldn't have enough room to write
them all down for you. They always play the "blame
someone else" game. Makes me sick. Just consider
all the things the ACLU has done to ruin this Country.
Maybe you could read the Democrats Platform and
it will outline where they've gone wrong. They're main
speakers are Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Michael
Moore, Jane Fonda, Barbra Streisand, Ted Kennedy,
Harry Reid, and "in your face" people like them. They
have been against all the well-qualified candidates that
President Bush has appointed to various government
positions and agencies. They all stick to this "politically
correct" nonsense and there's no chance whatsoever
they'll work hard to be bi-partisan. It's really messed up
this Country. Need I say more?

Exist, according to the right. I've even heard a well known conservative radio and tv personality call democrats "the enemy".
Well I guess the only thing I can say to that is "we are all Americans,
weather you agree with them or not they are still your fellow countrymen you-------- ) How can we hope to defend this country and defeat our enemies if we spend so much of out time and effort tearing ourselves apart?

pachl@sbcglo.... you have the "dictator" spiel down... "who cares about a few rights... that's not what's important".... nice... I'm just happy to know that most people are smarter than you are...

you can't just take a few rights away and stop... "just a few, for a minute"... it always turns into more... and more... for your "safety" and "security"... then you're never safe enough and you have to do everything to protect it... until your just another dictatorship... it's happened many, many times...

but you just want to trot down the same old road with your head held high... go learn some history... it destroys your argument...

Sunshine: those men died to protect our freedoms... not so that we could give them away at the slightest hint of terrorists... Republicans are so eager to give up the very freedoms many died to protect, those who died would be sick to know all it took for us to give up our own freedoms to our own government was a few men from the middle east over one attack... it was horrible, but America and the American way are greater than what happened on 9-11

We don't have to sink to the terrorists level to beat them... we are better than that and we are free... illegally tapping our phones is just one example of taking away the freedoms that many have died to protect... why do you not see this... are we not intelligent enough to catch the terrorists legally? I think we are, Republicans think we're not... that's the division...

They encourage people to think outside the two party box. It messes up the nice straight lines and easy balloting process.Change still frightens to many people. Lessens the ability to control the masses. Peace.
