i've had blackheads for years and i've tried sooo many creams and they're still there. I just have blackheads on my nose and when i wash it with the creams it makes my nose smooth, and you cant really see the blackheads but they're still there. But after a few minutes they're really noticeable again. Help!!

I've had a few on my face for quite a few months now and I have been using the Biore Nose Strips a lot and they just never get them out.
I just ordered something that I'm hoping helps. It has great reviews and its cheep.
The first one is the cheaper one...

The second one is the one that I bought, its a few dollers more then the first one, but still pretty cheep.

I've not used them yet, but I can't wait to try it. Let me know if you would like me to get back to you on rather or not it works.

Neutrogena (I think that's the brand)has stuff that is Pore Refining (cleanser & toner). St. Ives also has a pore cleanser. I personally like ProActiv best (it's now available in some malls at those little carts in the middle of the mall). Alot of acne stuff will help w/ the oil control and blackheads. When you wash your face wet the washcloth w/ water as hot as you can stand(don't burn yourself!) and lay it across your face for a few minutes(this is steaming) then apply your cleanser. When your cleanser is on your face rub it in really good w/ your fingers. Then use your washcloth to wipe the rest away. Next, you can use an exfoliator if your cleanser doesn't have on in it (your cleanser will have little beads or pieces of walnut, etc. if it has an exfoliant in it) Then use a mask on your face(mud masks are really good for soaking up oil & pulling out impurities & I like a peel off mask-you can find this kind of thing at drugstores or mass retailers) After you wash the mask off apply a pore strip to your nose (Biore & Ponds make these) let it harden and then pull it off(this is kind of gross b/c you can actually see all the gunk that was in your nose pores on the strip). Apply a pore refining toner. *Only use the mask & pore strip1-2 times a week.*

Well everyones skin is different and reacts differently to different products. So the best thing you can do, is try different things people recommend, not commercials. but try them very far from each other that way you know if its working right. Lot of ppl i know use the products from AVON, I believe its called Clearskin. Theres diff products, see which u want. The one i know works for blackheads is Clearskin® Purifying Astringent Blackhead Clearing Formula. Go to the website provided to find out more. Good Luck

Home steam your face. It is as easy as that. You can steam as many times as you like providing you do the aftercare thing. Use steam to 'open' your pores then cleanse with a gentle scrub and rinse in cold water to 'close' your pores after then tone and moisturize using gentle perfume and color free products so you do not to irritate your skin further.

Been there. Your skin isn't shedding it's top layers so the pores are clogging up. You need to use a product that has salicylic acid to help exfoliate. Clinique skin care products are great because they do contain that, and their clarifying powder also contains some while providing great coverage. Good luck.

Don't mash them--you will wind up with huge pores not clean ones. Do what the previous three answers said. Especially what casj2006 said.

you can steam it before you start popping, it will come out easier...
if you want to get it cleaned professionally, go to a beaty salon/facial spa place...they will do that for you before giving you a facial...the place i go to charges about 65 bucks....comes with cleaning, steaming, black head removing, facial mask and shoulder/neck massage.
