Yes and NO if you burn the songs then yes it is illegal if you just download the songs and listen to them on limewire than no its not illegal.

Limewire itself is not illegal. HOWEVER, using it to download copyrighted material (ex. most commerically available music) IS illegal (and very much so).

its not illegal if u pay for it but if u have the free version with free songs its illegal. Also on the free version people can download songs from u if u have it ans it makes ur computer slower.
