AIDS and sexual diseases are already taught in most school systems.
As for sexual orientation, i think its better that it stays out of the school curriculum. Most people are very uncomfortable about the subject, and having it forced upon them wouldnt help.
Also, if taught, it could spark hate between groups of different sexuality. One blaming the other for the transfer of disease.

People should be warned of how HIV/AIDS is transmitted. It is SEXUALLY transmitted, not just homosexually transmitted. Whomever said homosexuality is the chief cause? What about the MILLIONS OF PEOPLE in Africa that are infected? Are they all gay? No. Most of these people have been raped, sodomized (men doing it to women), and children born with the disease. Woman in Africa are selling themselves to the soldiers to just eat, and they do as the customer likes. No condoms, anal, multiple partners, whatever to make the money.
So the simple fact that you feel (or assume, or heard that lousy fact somewhere and now think it true) that only homosexuality is the chief cause of HIV/AIDS means you need to be taught the reality of the death sentence of a disease.
As for sexual orientation being taught in schools, yes. If that teaches understanding, and takes away the fear of the unknown and different, then I am all for it!!!!!!!!!!

You are ignorant in the true sense of the word. Homosexuality is not the "cause" of AIDS; AIDS stems from the HIV virus, which actually has nothing to do with homosexuality. If people weren't as narrow-minded and misinformed as you are, and learned more about sexuality, sexual orientation, and gender, there would be much more tolerance and a lot less hate, and the world would be a better place.

Homosexuality being the chief cause? Get your bigoted head out of the 80s. AIDS is not a gay disease. For all you know you have it.

The possible results of ANY sexual encounter should be taught in Health Class at High School level. Actual sexual orientation should be talked about in private among family members and or friends. School teaches facts and principles, the private world teaches opinions and beliefs.

How do you know homosexuality is the main cause. It is stupid to assume that you'll get aids because ur a homosexual. No people should not be warned against it because it's wrong. You wouldn't tell people to not be of a different race just because KKK people exsist in this world.

I personally believe that AIDs should be taught about, and children (when at the proper age) should be warned about it. But, sexual orientation shouldn't be defined in school- you shouldn't be able to tell a child, "If you're gay, it's wrong- you should be straight." Let the kids choose for themselves when they're older.

i don't think bisexuality or homosexuality is the chief cause of aids and would prefer my kids figure their sexual orientation out themselves when they are old enough to experiment with it. of course i am also mature enough to teach my kids about aids and the dangers of sex at home and don't need the school doing this for me. the schools already do the majority of our jobs when raising kids, why pawn yet one more thing off on them. take responsibility for your children and teach them yourself.

I think it should be taught in schools. Some parents don't teach their kids anything about sex, they're scared to even say the word in front of their kids. And where will these kids end up?
Plus some families that do talk about it may miss some points, I think the school can fill in some blanks in that case.

I would like to keep that power. And it's not just homosexuals that get aids. This kind of thinking is why so many people are still getting it. And Nobody is sure where it originated although there are several theories.
