As far as I see it, I think its a matter of subjective ambiguity. Like saying someone is 'outgoing' is not very concrete. You may consider yourself outgoing because you go out every weekend, while someone might not consider you outgoing because you don't meet knew friends every other week.
Also horoscopes seem to throw so many options with general personality types that you probably fit under the characteristics of a few different signs.
That being said though, I do believe that horoscopes are based on general observations of people. However I think they're not as accurate for women because when astrological signs were first set they were developed in a socioty that really only focused on the study of men. In other words I think that women scorpios may act specific ways, but that doesn't mean that they act the same ways as male scorpios.

I'm an Aries and what I want in life I'm like my horoscope but I act more like my rising sign, Gemini. When people see me for the first time they believe I'm a Gemini but when they get to know me then the realize I do have more Aries in me. They see my personality first (Gemini) but then the start seeing my values, beliefs, how I truly act and behave and when they see that then they see the Aries in me. Gemini is my personality that brings out my ego, Aries, what I want out of life or a situation.

I call them "horriblescopes"... I don't follow them or believe in being ruled by them. I am a Leo and I have alot of the characteristics they describe. We all can probably say that. I think we can all take a daily horoscope and "Fit" some of the stuff into our daily life. Just not sure it's scientific.....

I personally think that horoscopes are definately in a sense of some truth. I read them, well, mine and my husband's and they're usually on the money every time.

I'm a gemini and while I do show some traits that I'm supposed to show...but I don't think i have them because I'm born in the time span. We're human. You can't hope to categorise every single one of our traits according to when we were born.

Well, I guess that's a matter of opinion....but I am a Leo...and I definetly act like one...I LOVE to be in the limelight and I liked to have all eyes on me
