I don't that he will retire anytime soon. He may take a break and start spending moretime doing movies.

I agree with the general sentiment here...if he does quit, I'll miss the character...after living in gimmick wrestler hell for a while he finally found a good character with Kane, but I think the single biggest mistake he made was losing the mask. Even though he's good at it, the psychotic unmasked Kane he does now just isn't the same. I also agree he's never really had a STRONG title run so it would be good to see him do it at least one more time. And with the mask this time...I think that's where they are going with his storyline right now. Also, if Kane goes back to being masked again, should Glenn Jacobs(his real name) want to retire, they could still keep the Kane character going. I'm hoping he will stick around for at least a couple more years anyhow.

It kind of suprised me but the more I thought about it, it's not that suprising. The only wrestlers who are left in wrestling that have been in the WWE longer than him are people like Michaels, HHH, Flair, and Taker. I'd like to see him have another title run but he has not had good runs at all in the WWE. I think he has the record for turning from heel to face and vis versa, and I know he has the record for having the most partners while tag champs. He hasn't had a good long running storyline. Kind of a shame.

yeah he said he want to retire maybe early 2007, he said that he had achieved everything he may want in his career, he may bot renew his contract this january and finally retire!
in my opinion, i still want another title run for him, one more and its enough.. taker should be the one to retire soon, since he's only a ppv man now!

I think he is too big of a superstar to retire so he might just take a brake or something. and as of my opion I dont think that it would be right of him to retire yet.

just like the Rock, Kane will surprisingly get hurt, he will stop wrestling, and do more movies because he will make more money doing movies than wrestling
