Is there an International money transfer limit?

How much money can I legaly send from the US using services like MoneyGram or WesternUnion? Does some level require the the authorities be notified?

Any transfer of $10,000 or more will be reported. I don't know about western union, but, normally people use bank wire transfers for large sums. I don't think there is limit on wire transfers. You can wire $10 million and more if you want to.

Check out the Bank Secrecy Act. There are limitations, but by questioning what they are, you are now under suspicion. Watch out, for they will come after you.
