I seldom use my foundation, blush and brow liner, but that's what I have in my make up bag basically. Only I have more than one in it.
All of which, I use Maybelline. No disappointments!

Hope it helps!

I have a starter list here for you
* Concealer (closest to your skin color)
* Foundation =liquid, stick or cake(light and closest to your skin color too)
* Eye shadow (earth colors plus white for accents, black and brown as an eyeliner)
* Blusher (pinks, oranges but not too much)
* Lipstick (pinks, oranges and pinkbrowns)
* Mascara (black and brown)
* Brushes (different sizes for the eyes and cheeks)
* Sponge for the cake foundation or an applicator of the liquid or stick (fingers will be the best)
* Powder (translucent or nearest to your skin color)
* Eye lash curler
The first thing you should know is the shape of your face, when you know it it's more easy. Because you will know what is best for you. Remember light and simple is the best. Also use make-ups that are hypo allergenic and wash your face at night. Be sure before you apply the make-up your face is clean and take time doing it, it's worth it (it's your face, or masterpiece). Putting make-up is an art that is why you have to learn the right way, and also that is why we call the experts make artists(like me). Hope this will be a great help for you, if you have follow up questions just post it and eventually I will see it so that I can answer you again.

Foundation, Powder, Blush, Lipstick, Mascara and Eye Shadow. Generally, to start off your collection, get colors that are natural for you. Then the more you get comfortable with it, you can try fun new shades with different outfits, etc., and your collection will grow.

Another thing to consider is Brushes. They may seem pricey, but they are well worth it. You'll be using them every day.

You need a good brush set, compacts, foundation (powder, liquid, or both) eyeliners, mascara, eye shadows, cheek colors, lip lliners, lipsticks and lip glosses. Most importantly, you need to have good skin care products. Makeup always looks better when your skin is fresh and clean.

foundation in a shade that most closely matches your complexion, loose powder for initial application, preferably translucent and translucent pressed powder for touch-ups, basic eyeshadow in taupe, brown, for day, brighter colors for night, eyeliner in black-brown, and in navy, eyelash curler, mascara in black-brown and in navy, blush in natural looking pinky color and lip gloss, shear, and a basic pinkish brown lipstick. Also invest a good set of cosmetic brushes. You'll never be sorry for not scrimping in that area. You can go cheap with eyeshadow,but with everything else, buy the best you can afford.

when you first start, just buy the basics: blush, mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. try to pick shades that will go with most of what you wear. after a while, pick colors that will go with the other everyday outfits you have.

lip gloss, foundation (make sure you get the right color), mascara, neutral eyeshadow and a pink eyeshadow (every girl needs pink) (;

PS:
You want to look as natural as possible so don't over do it. At your age you don't really need lip and eye liner

mascara and eyeliner are a must
then comes things like lip gloss, lip stick, eye shadow maybe cover-up for a pimple or something
but in most cases i think eyeliner and mascara are what you really need

A good set of brushes, eyeshadows and if you wear nothing else, wear mascara. It will make your eyes pop and really its all you need.
