Bella, maybe we should all be berka wearing women form the middle east and keep all of our mouths shut. After all us women don't really matter at all do we?

Good name for you PsychoDad, and you should be their chauffer. The Dixie chicks rock, they're integrity has changed my interest in country for the better. I'm downright proud of those chicks.

for the record they did apologize then they retracted there apology because they didn't feel right for apologizing for there opinion. i say good for them that is the one thing a celebrity can do better that a average citizen is get the beliefs out there in the public good or bad. i think they are very brave to have made the beliefs so public and not care what it could or couldn't do to there careers!

The Dixie Chicks are brave. They did nothing wrong. They never said that they were ashamed of what they said because they (and others) have said so much more that was worse than that. They simply stated an opinion that they had and they made a public apology two days after the incident. They have nothing to be ashamed of and their new cd is great!! I love every single song and nothing has changed!! They are the only artists to have 3 albums debut at number 1 on the pop and country charts. Also, they write and play all their own music....they have true talent.
