I thought if plugging my iPod into another PC, the PC won't pick up all the songs?

Well, if you mean how do you transfer one computer's files to another, the cheapest way is to either use an existing storage device and go little by little or pay under $10 and buy a ethernet cable. You can then use the ethernet cable to connect the two computers through a simple home network and use the "share" option to allow one computer to access the other computer's files. Setting up the ethernet is quite easy, just follow the instructions for setting up a home network (on all windows XP) and set your IP addresses. I use 255.255.255.0 and 255.255.255.1.

If you already have an iPod, the solution is very easy as all you need to do is to use your USB cable to transfer all the songs on your hard drive to the iPod and then drop those files onto the other PC.
