It depends on what you mean about a problem....
The most obvious answer is ignorance. They don't know or understand or care to try. The use the bible as their weapon to hurt those that are different. The bible doesn't really even talk about homosexuality as we see it today...I'll provide a link for you to check out some things.
The other reason that I, as a lesbian, encounter is that men (some not all) see the penis as the end all of everything and can;t understand why a woman wouldn;t want it. They don;t respect lesbians as having a real relationship, but only view it as an object of porn and fantasy. Trouble is, sometimes it's not the penis lesbians don't want, but what;s attached to it...
And if you mean why would a woman have trouble accepting herself as a lesbian and committing to a relationship...fear. Fear of what other people will think and say. sad but true.

Let me tell you a story:
My first lesbian relationship was one of the first seen in my school. I live in a pretty conservative town. Everyone stared and i felt like i was being hated for something i couldnt control.
People hate what they do not understand. People are also too lazy to spend the time to understand things. Its a terrible thing to judge without getting to know people. I know that the relationship i'm in now its more accepted, and its a good thing.

It's wrong because I'm a single, straight guy. When I see a lesbian couple, I think, "Darn, there are two less available women in the world."
After I find a woman, then lesbianism is ok.

I think lesbians are OK, But gay men piss Me off. Because A lot of poeple think Im gay but I am not. I have been with My wife for 27 years. Why do You have to have a parade and dance in the streets. Go back in the closet, that kind of stuff is personal, and You are making everyone homophobic.

because some people are flat out ignorant!!! Some people of course feel that what can a person that is the same sex do for you ? My answer to that is love, joy,happiness. Some relationships are great and some are not. Some people just don't realize that allot of people have been hurt emotionally, physiclly, mentally, abused by the opposite sex and they feel comfortable around the same sex. I'm 15 and i have a great relationship with my same sex partner. I couldn't ask more of her!!

Because it's a sin. God says it is. Of course we all sin everyday, but most of us aren't so open with our sins. We try to hide them because we're ashamed. Gays/Lesbians are not ashamed anymore, and they flaunt their sins for the whole world to see. THAT's why some people have a hard time with it. Do we murder people and then go bragging about it? Of course not. Murder (in the eyes of God) is equal to lying, stealing, cheating on our spouses, and homosexuality. A sin is a sin is a sin to Him. So when lesbians show the world that they're sinning, it's just like bragging, "Hey, I killed someone last night!" At least have the decency to be ashamed of your sins and ask forgiveness, and do not continue in your sins.

Why do Lesbians and Gays have to announce to the world their sexual preference?? Thats the problem alot of people have with the whole Gay/lesbian thing....I personally dont care who you sleep with or anyone else for that matter...but why do these people have to wear rainbow colors to announce their sexual preference?? I am straight....are there any straight colors or straight concerts or walk a thons to go to for straights? NO! we just live life as best we can

I don't have a problem with it, as long as the two are happy together that's all that matters. We're all the same. It's no different than a man-woman relationship or a man-man relationship. I hope your relationship is going good and that you are happy. much luv to ya!!!!!! :)

I'l tell you why. Because God did not create people that way. It is wrong. I accept lesbians...i just don't accept what they do. The truth is that all you lesbians are being brainwashed.
