Under the circumstances you will not be able to take a home pregnancy at the time your period is expected as you are irregular, but give yourself at least four to five weeks, and if you still have the same symptoms, then you should take the test, now, if you are ovulating now, it may be too soon to actually be pregnant and all that you are feeling are premenstrual cramps, which is very similar to pregnancy symptoms... But if you are ovulating, have as much sex, morning preferably, and see what happens...

If you are ovulating today and you conceive today it will take 7-10 days for the cells to implant in your uterus. From there your body will begin producing the pregnancy hormone Hcg which will double in amount every day so the earliest testing that might have a chance of being correct is around days 9-10 but that is really early and if you can hold out until day 12 you might have a better chance of getting an early positive. Lots of variables have to fit in there but I hope this helps!

I would go to the drug store and buy a box of two. Take one in the morning when your urine is the most concentrated, if it comes out negative, take the other test in about one to two weeks if you haven't had your period yet. If the test still come out negative, I would see your physician. Some weird illnesses can give you symptoms similiar to pregnancy (like the flu), but if the symptoms persist you may want a professional opinion as to your possibilities. Good luck!

Also...Most symptoms of pregnancy don't start until you are approximately 4-8 weeks pregnant, so your ovulation test may be in accurate.

I'm not quite sure if I understood your question correctly, but if you are ovulating right now, you cannot also be pregnant right now. You do not ovulate while you are pregnant.
If the test says that you are ovulating though, now is the time to try and conceive. Then wait about 4 weeks until you take a test.
I wish you all the luck!

You mean before or after you go to the doctor. If you have not had a period in over a year then you can't very well trust a ovulation test. In order for those to things to be even somewhat active you need to have regular periods. You may want to consult your Gynecologists.
