I am in a speech class. Need an idea on a topic to "sell" for a "Sales Speech"

Well - look at popular culture and whats the hottest selling things on the market today
Its always easier to talk on something thats selling great.
Figure out all the positive points on them - all the advantages. Leave out any information that could possibly hurt it.
Topics to sell? iPods is the only thing that comes to mind for me really. do research on hot stuff - they are your best bet

Is it to be a REAL product, or a MADE-UP one?
For a real product, you could do just about anything. I would pick something lots of people would want, that would be cheap. A candy bar, or a soda. That would be really easy. You could talk about it and eat it/drink it and make everyone REALLY crave it.
If you need to make up a product, you could still do something similar. Make up a new kind of flavor. You could mock a real commercial, like Dr. Pepper's "23 flavors" campaign.

Well if it a made a product that you have to sell why don't you make up some thing like candy floss? and you can make jokes about it. You could start by saying how many ppl hate flossing? then go on wth well today we have introduced the first ever edible floss dunno just a thought
