it will take a while, im still trying do download my new car, 3 payments and its still not downloaded

but no really you cant, for future reference only data can be downloaded not physical objects

No a sound card cannot be downloaded because it is a physical object. You can however download drivers for sound cards.

Unless something has changed dramatically, a sound card is a piece of hardware. You don't download it - you go to the store and buy it. It looks like the inside of a computer, because that is where they are usually found.

When you download something, it's a file, or some form of software.

I sure hope you're not the high school computer lab teacher :)

No, but you can download the drivers for it, which will make it work.

You should have some sort of onboard sound, so do the following.

right click my computer and go to properties, advanced, hardware, device manager, from here you can see what is not installed. You can usually get your sound driver by simply running windows update or installing the chipset drivers for your motherboard.

Nope. You can download a sound card just as easily as you can download a monitor or a mousepad.
