but my dad told me not to let ppl know we have money becasue it's tacky...but my poorer friends always say how they are poor as if its cool...ugh!

It is tacky to gloat about having money, its not cool to be rich or poor. What you have to do is be secure in yourself and be proud your well off. The stigma in society is if you have money and talk about it your rubbing it in someones face or showing off where as on the flip side if you don't have money its OK to speak on it.
Don't stress the small stuff

It's people like you that make poor people feel like they're not as good as other people. Honestly, you should be ashamed of yourself for acting like such a spoiled brat! Why don't you think about all the people who are homeless and all the people who are starving because they don't have enough money to buy food. While all these people are living like this, you are out shopping at the mall, eating out, and riding around in your nice car. Try visiting a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen, and see if that doesn't fix your problem!

When i was growing up we didn't have a lot of money, all of my friends had more than me.. so if we went somewhere or they bought something expensive i would make jokes about not being able to eat if i had bought something like that... It's just a pride thing, they don't want to be looked down on because they don't have a lot of money so they cope with it the best they can, by making it look cool and not being ashamed of it..

your dad tels u that to protect u from kids using u for stuff and being meen.Wich i've answered a lot of your questions and it seems like people judge u because your rich.Money doesn't matter!and it be great if you relized this!some people are just happy with who they r!and i'm one of those people i'm not rich but i'm not poor and I'm happy just to be me and have learned to ignore people,because theres always going to be people that hate on you because your to tall,to skinny,to poor,to rich.And it's not right but kids are just cruel.
