And yes, there was time off from work due to injury and had to take time off for doc visits. The med bills are not high, but I still want compensated. And yes I know accidents happen, but if I break my neighbors window out playing ball I would be responsible to pay for damages even though it was an accident.

There are too many dogs and cats in usa, too many careless human beings. bear in mind, the deadliest animal in usa, different than people, is the spouse and toddlers dogs. All this politically stunning nonsense in the direction of dogs and cats is the perfect reason puppy vendors get sued. some third of assets vendors legal situations for coverage are blamed on the relatives dogs. In different words, maximum folk have not have been given any corporation possessing a dogs. in certainty i'm getting upset as quickly as I see wild animals killed on the line. particularly with the aid of fact that some human beings particularly with reason, run them over. that includes snakes. that is been nicely documented that the vehicle kills extra organic international that the rest. quite unhappy, with the aid of fact maximum of that would desire to be prevented.

Unless your doctor is brilliant has both an M.D. AND a J.D., he shouldn't be giving you legal advice. His job extends only so far as to diagnose your injuries and tell you how much it is going to cost you in medical expenses.

To decide how much to ask the negligent driver for, you may want to consult a lawyer.

Amazing. What state? What happened? Is your state a no-fault state? Is there a minimum damages level for claiming pain and suffering? Is your state a contributory negligence state and did you contribute negligence to cause the accident?

Why should you get more than your medical bills? Other than lost wages, that is? Accidents happen.
