You have your occasional bad experiences, but look at these things the next time you buy something off of eBay
1) Look at the Seller's feedback rating (if it's around (97-100%) and a high number, your usually ok and that person's usually a good seller

2)See if the seller has a money back guarantee or a refund policy, they say when you sell on eBay 72% of buyers say that a refund policy is crucial for buying.

I love EBAY... I bought my car, digital camera, Dell Axim, computer parts, software, clothes.. and a million handbags etc all on Ebay.
My criteria is basically based on the feedback the person has. If it is over say 96% I'm good... I have however chosen to bid on a few that had some bad FB (Maybe the bad FB was from when HE was a buyer- then ok, if his FB as a seller is all good, I can overlook this) .

My Bad experience: I bought and paid for a shirt - the woman had excellent FB,it never came. She didn't ever answer her e-mail etc. I wrote to paypal and got my $$ back but felt something must have happened (her FB had been perfect, then she had 10 bad transactions in a row) Later I find out she had been in an accident and was in a coma!

I've had tons of good ones, but on 2 occasions I got DVD's that were only half the movie (Finding Neverland) and one guy didn't send me the CD.

I got refunds through Paypal or Ebay on each occasion though.

yes, a seller sent me a used item when stated it was new, was totally obvious that it wasn't. I left them neutral feedback because I don't want to be a mean person and they came back with a negative for me! Whatever you do, don't leave feedback until they do first or they will retaliate for your being honest!!!
