well we moved to Florida,, its a lot cheaper the jersey..we were there for thirty years
but Georgia and the Carolina's are also less expensive to live and the pay is better then in Florida
but i love Florida and am very glad i moved there

- avoid the coasts - expensive near them
- avoid alaska and hawaii - ditto, though wages are higher in Alaska
- nice & cheap........... maybe a southern state - not florida!
but, be sure you'll like the climate and other stuff. cheap could be miserable and a waste of time and money in the long run.
