any one who would say yes to that is incredibly ignorant! That is like saying I hate people! I hate Jews, I hate blacks, I hate people with birth defects, I hate people with red hair! Come on, how can there really be that much hatred in this world. People who are gay are not a different kind of person, they just have different views and preferences than others. Just like I prefer chocolate icecream instead of vanilla. I hope no one hates me for that! Where is the love people? And don't give me this Bible bullshit about God hating gays. Sure the Bible says it is wrong and is a sin... so is hatred! How can you say one sin is any different than the rest. They are still sins! Ok, I am going to get off my soapbox now. Nope, know a few of them, and find them no different really from anyone else I know. Seem to be great people, friendly and helpful.
But there again, I don't belong to those religions, that are to the right of Atilla the hun, and get all bent out of shape about gays.
No idea why, seems they need something to rail against.
So much for 'love thy neighbor'
Can't recall there being an adjunct to that saying. Like "but only if he is like you."

Of course not. Hating someone because of who they are is just stupid and pointless. All of us are just trying to get along the best way we know while we're here. The same is true whether you're gay, straight, bi, caucasian, African, hispanic, or whatever. There are an almost incredible number of ways you can better spend your time and energy than hating other people.

I take people on a one on one basis. But the gay movement, I'm not big on it. Gay marriage? That is just plain nuts.
