I am a contractor in the New Orleans area. What is the standard charge in this town?

4 dollars a square yard.most installers who install do not get most of the money they subcontract for a company and the company gets some of the money so they may charge 7 dollars instead of 4

don't know about your town, but we get 4.50 to 6.00 per yard in the northwest, I would think in the N.O area you'd probably only get 2.50-3.00 since the economy has to be horrid there. I'd stick to laminate or vinyl, ceramic should be popular as well.

why would u charge less or more now that ur in NO.? what were u getting before? avg. is 3.00-4.00 per yd.

call lowes and ask them how much to install.
