I would like to build a virtual model showing all the orbiting satellites around the earth. Or is there one already available to view somewhere online?

There are almost 25,000 man-made objects: 8681 currently in orbit, and over 16,000 objects in a state of decay. Not every single satellite is included, since some are too small or too far away from home to be detected.

They have a site where you can check them all out, and watch their movements, and projections. I can't remember the name. Search and you will find it. It tells what kind of satellites they are, and what they do, where they are, ect. I used to have it on another pc and forgot about it. If I find it again I'll let you know.
