In addition, while water and oxygen can be magnetic, I don't see a reason why plastic can't!

Are you sure C isnt missing anything? cause its kinda basic... well i'd go eith either B or C casue the quality of the plastic magnets that you showed in that link has standard magnetic properties.

a. diamagnetic - A natural magnetic ness that every form of matter has.
b. ferromagnetic- The most familiar type of magneticism like a refrigiator magnet.
c. magnetic - Basically magnetetic....
d. paramagnetic - Something that is attracted to magnets BUT does not contain any magneticism by itself.
e. nonmagnetic - You explained it.

In labs certain types of "plastic" are magnetic.

A bic pen cap is Diamagnetic, I know because I got it to levitate.

Plastics (mostly) being polymers can not be ferromagnetic.

non-magnetic basically cause it does not contain any ferrous properties to it. I can however carry static charge but it would still not be able to pulled by a magnet
