honest truth, i would not recommend neither of them. Motorola phones aren't as good as they used to be because companies like Sony Ericsson or even Nokia are making better phones. they have a bunch of functions and such that makes RAZR or the SLVR useless. i have both the RAZR V3 and SLVR L6... i recently switched to Sony Ericsson w810i and i LOVE my SE waaay more than these two phones. but however, if you insist on getting either the RAZR or SLVR... i would pick the RAZR even though it's older than the SLVR because the pictures are nicer on the V3 and the screen is bigger. the SLVR has nasty looking pixels and the pictures are really grainy. the sound is better on the SLVR though... so it's just a matter of choice or if you care for what's newer haha. if you're going to get the SLVR i would recommend getting the L7 (the black one) because it has a memory card capability in which you can store mp3's and such... good luck!

I have owned at least 6 different phones including Motorola RAZR and Motorola MPX 220. According to me, Motorola phone quality is much below average. They have high radiation and makes disturbance in regualr phone lines if you are carrying a Motorola. The Motorola UI is really bad. Due to this I have decided not to buy any more Motorola. I would recommend the following manufactures:
1. Sony Ericsson
2. Nokia
3. Samsung

JD Power & Associates rated the following phones (in order):

Sanyo: 5 stars (out of 5)
LG: 5 stars
Samsung: 4 stars
Audiovox: 3 stars
Sony Ericsson: 3 stars
Motorola: 3 stars
Nokia: 2 stars
Kyocera: 2 stars

Motorola has a great model design team, one of the best in the industry, but truth is that Motorola phones are FAR below the average as far as quality is concerned. For the "slim" design, I would recommend the Samsung A900 Blade, available through Sprint. For information on how to get one cheap, email me at jameswhammons@ yahoo.com
