discharge is healthy, but if it is green or yellow or smells weird, you should see a doctor immediately.

Its only the day after, any infection you would have incurred would not take effect this quickly, when the doctor inserts an IUD they have to stretch your cervix with an instrument, this takes lubrication, and some time (especially if you have never had children)which is taxing on your cervix, I would give it another day or two, if this is really weighing heavily on your mind, call your gyn. But they should have told you that discharge and bleeding for a few days after is completely normal. But like I said above really call your doc and see what they say. Good luck :)

my mom had one of these and it pretty much messed her up she was bleeding for about a year and just recently went to the doctor and found out that she was anemic. its been a real struggle for her so you might wanna go to the doctor. good luck

You should probably get that checked out to be safe. You could have some sort of infection.
