Let's go back to when the vast majority thought and acted as one for the benifit of the people and the nation. Today we seem to be tearing ourselves apart with hatered and selfish issues of all kinds. What steps would it take to start us in the right direction?

Step #1: Remove Bush from office and do not allow any member of his family to even run for office. EVER!!! No descendants...not even 100's of years from now.

Step #2: Vote a real human being into office...President/Senate/House. One who will take care of issues that are truly important. 90% of them are all talk. They say what you want to hear for the vote and don't follow through. Then when they are up for re-election...What do the people do??? For some reason they usually vote them back in. Who knows why. Quit voting for the robots!

The "good old days" are a myth.

There never was any time in US (or world) history when the vast majority agreed on anything. Those few occasions when many people agreed, the days could hardly be considered "good."

I don't think those really were the "good ole days". Nobody had their own thoughts or beliefs, everyone had "cookie cutter" lives and houses and jobs and cars.... Today ppl speak their minds and stand up for what they believe in. There may be some hatred in the world, but at least ppl aren't expecting all think, dress, act and believe the same things.

I think that the "good old days" doesn't really exist. If you look back in history, there were extremely horrible things going on in each and every decade. If it's not one thing, it's another.
