Why do I name Jesus the Christ as my God? Well, it's obvious that I was first taught about Him through my parents and the church they raised me in. And then, after I went through my "rebellious" years, and often felt I was god, simply to avoid having to bow down to another being, I had calamities in my life, serious ones, that first of all let me know for sure that I wasn't God. Second of all, having been raised in my teen years in the late '60's and following all the Beatles' guru-ish tromps through the Asiatic world and seeing what a flop their gods were, and pursuing my own learning of "far-eastern" gods or South American gods or Egyptian gods, and finding that a total waste of time, and pursuing all the new American gods and finding them an equally dung loaded bunch of nonsense, I decided to . . . if I was brave enough and not afraid of being "sucked-in" by church goers, to look back at the Christian Bible, in detail, and do this thing called praying, which is so very essential to belief in The Christ, as the eastern religions substitute chanting, etc., and found quite simply that, putting everything on as an even keel as one could, Jesus had them beat hands-down. And that's taking into account all the "new discoveries" of some "books of the Bible" that had not been included in the Bible, and some supposed books that had been taken out, and the multiple translations and versions, etc., etc., etc., and some "books" that supposedly had been put in that historically could be "proven" to not be a legitimate book of the Bible, and all the supposed historical time tables that show how one book was impossibly post-Jesus to be legitimate and others to have this supposed flaw or that supposed flaw, and despite all that, with that Christian Bible and prayer to Jesus the Christ and His Father and the Holy Spirit, I could never fail, even if my prayers seemed unanswered or not answered the way I wanted them. And believe me, if you could see my life now, you'd wonder how I could be where I am and have any belief in any god, much less Jesus the Christ. But despite all the setbacks I've had, and live with today, I have come to realize what it means to truly give oneself over to " a power greater than oneself" and have no fear that ultimately, beyond my still lagging human anxieties, all will be well for those who do believe in Him and His Father and the Holy Spirit, . . ., and those that don't, . . . well, I must say you're like an old wooden ship, like back in Columbus' Day, on a very stormy, dark ocean, with the winds blowing your sails to hell, and your wooden planks creaking loudly in the rough waters, warning you plainly, you're about to go down. I pray you see The Way. God Bless you and good luck, for what luck has to do with anything.

Well, God created the Earth through Jesus Christ and God is the father of my spirit, but my parents made my body. So my creation was a partnership between Heavenly Father (God), Jesus Christ, and my parents here on Earth. I am a product of all of them, but I am also an individual with my own agency and ability to choose and live my life.

Jehovah God, He created the earth and everything else. He provided us a way to get to live eternally with Him, by Jesus , His son. God is love and wants all to come to Him, but wont force anyone.

none. I don't think any 'god' made me. If you think that everything must have a creator, then tell me who made 'God'. If you believe that 'God' was created by no one, and always existed, then tell me why you find it so strange when I say the Universe has no creator and always existed (though not in the same form).

God, but not in the traditional sense, maybe like a higher power, we're all part of one energy type of thing..but I'm not real sure..still searching..definately not the God that loves me but will send me straight to hell, that is associated with Christianity.

I'd have to say god, though he should have a better name.
Now, you probably want to know WHICH god. I'm still figuring that out, but he's a broad guy-- he likes everyone.
He's my creator because without each other, neither could survive. He relies on us like we rely on him. Puppets can't function without a puppeteer
