Do whatever she tells you. Then start doing things before she has to tell you. Once she sees that you can be responsible for your chores and other duties, she will back off. Think about it, if you have already taken care of whatever she is bugging you about, she won't bug you.

Although it may be difficult, just take a moment and look her in the eyes and really just listen to what she has to say. Then you can take a deep breath think about it and respond. When all else fails the serenity prayer always has helped me.

You join my club, no but seriously just try to stay on her good side as much as possible and stay off the radar. If you get into an argument with her walk away and cool off then talk about it later.

Try to stay on her good side. Don't talk back, and agree with what she says. If your mom's like mine, you can't have an opinion unless its hers. I learned to keep my big mouth shut. Do what she says, do good in school, keep outta trouble. Get a job, if you can, and wait till the day you can move out.
