I mean what is it that a man really wants in a marriage. I have a husband that has a very hard time getting words out and telling me what he really wants. Can you guys give me some gerneral ideas on how to keep my husband happy. PLease on behalf of a guy that doesnt know how to put his feelings into words.

I already cook, clean, laundry, take care of the baby, sex i just dont have a job or any money, isnt that good enough? what am i missing here?

He wants someone to be there for him, make him laugh, be his best friend and his lover. Take care of him and love him. Just remind him everyday that you love him.

My husband had a hard time with that too when we were first married - it drove me nuts! It just took a lot of patience and asking of a lot of questions to try to get his feelings out. But you can only do so much. It is a 2 way street. I think a lot of men really do want what the women want. A secure home with a happy family and stability. And a shoulder to lean on (even though they have trouble putting that into words). Good luck.

Don't f*ck all his friends. Try not to cheat too much. Get checked for diseases and don't bring them home to him. Outside of the sex things, how about not nagging too much. Talk to him about his work. Try to learn Football, Baseball, or whatever thing it is he likes because if he can talk to you about that, then you get him for more time and the first part of my rant may be a moot point. Women cheat so much because men don't pay attention to them, but maybe women don't try hard enough to learn their guys either. Good communication, no matter what it's about is most important. My parents had six divorces between them because they couldn't communicate with their spouses. Some people just can't communicate and probably shouldn't be married. Being single isn't all that bad anyway, though my single days are coming to an end. Mostly, I just want her to be faithful, honest, open, funny and just be with me as much as we can.

I am in my 2nd marriage. #1 was BAD, #2 is great, and it's not about the sex.
- My wife and I have common interests. We both like to play golf, for example, and we both like to watch hockey (Go Devils, but not till next year). It is great to have interests that let us have conversations beyond "What's for dinner" and "What's in the mail."
- Trust, if he is trustworthy. My first wife was crazy with 1001 questions about everything that I did, everywhere I went, and if there were any women there. #2 is very trusting, and she has no reason not to be. I am very loyal and would never cheat.
- Understanding and a willingness to listen. If I have a tough day at work, she is willing to listen. This works both ways, of course.
These are just a few thoughts, and I hope that they help. In a nutshell, a spouse should be a good friend and confidant, a partner with whom you can see yourself staying with faithfully for the rest of your lives.

I think they all want more sex because most are terrible at it and need the practice. I really think they want robots that don't talk and just perform. They are always complaining and never happy. Sex and food are the 2 main survival needs of man and to think , This is what is running our country, scary eh! Really I think they want a woman to support them so they can sit around and scratch and fart. If they let a woman in for President they will be set for 8 years !

Everyone is different. As for your man, if he doesn't communicate well then you need to develop that in him. My wife and I have EXCELLENT communication. Both of us can say what is on our minds and the other doesn't take insult. But that's because it's not done to insult, rather, to convey our feelings.
There are subtle things she does that I pick up on, and vice versa. You need to explore all areas of what makes him HIM, and respond accordingly.
I like Root-beer Floats. That doesn't mean your husband does. I like Liver & Onions. NUFF said. Ask HIM what HE wants. If he doesn't know how to answer, give him time. He will learn to what extent he can talk to you, and you should learn to what extent you must go to in order for him to feel confident he can tell you.

Companionship. A partner that has similar goals and desires. Sometimes children. Ask him questions. Don't ask him a bunch of questions however right when he comes home from work. Wait for a little decompression from the daily routine.
Sex is a good answer also.

My husband explained it well when he told me he wanted a lifelong friend, companion and somebody he could trust and communicate with. Sex is sex unless you have been married for more than 5 years and know the true meaning of how to make each other happy.

A perfect slave.Don't push for answers, do your live nice to you, and remember what he find on you when meet for first time, there can be you answer, but you don't see because have a lot a possible answers, also check your hubby age, some times we change around 30 or 40, we don't talk to much because we feel old

Ima tell you what I was looking for.... Obviosly, the beautiful wife that is happy to see me, after work... So the Love aside, Lunch in a bag, on the table in the morning, dinner at night, a relitivly clean house... Here is something else, Drag him out to something that he use to like when you were dating Baseball/football game, movie, bar whatever... Im finding with my Marine buddy sayin we are doing this, its easier to get my butt out the house... HEre is one more.. when he comes home from work be cooking dinner, in high heels, and an apron, and thats it... (unless his buddies come by after work) Good Luck
