I made a new one, but I want to stop my old one. How?

IF YAHOO--
Go to the Yahoo account deletion page and login with your username and password. Then, to confirm once and for all that you want to delete everything associated with your login profile, enter your password again and click the button that says ‘Terminate this Account.’
Your account is now gone.
IF HOTMAIL---
To close your account go to Help > Top costumer questions > How can I close my Hotmail account? > Go to the Close Account page and follow the instructions (click the link).

you cant,but if you dont use it for a couple of months the company will get rid off the adress
