Can anyone please tell me the life span of a flea? What stages they go through such as egg, larva, adult and how long each stage last? Also does anyone have any recommendations on how to stop the flea infestation cycle? I have done the flea bug bombs, spray, and sevin dust and still have them. I have even steam cleaned my carpets. HELP!

if you have pets, go to the vet and get a treatment like Advantix; the only way to break the cycle is to cut off the food supply. The product is about $50.00 for a 4 month supply and you apply it to the back of the neck of your pet once a month. Not only will the flees begin to die, but your pet will be a lot happier too, with out the flees and all!

Good luck!

They go through four stages totalling 4 weeks to 8 months.
Controlling them is a difficult problem and I do not know a suitable answer.
