Why in the world would you want to work at age 12? Enjoy your childhood - you have plenty of years of work ahead of you, believe it. Otherwise, how about babysitting??

Most states have a working age of 14 or 16 so check with your state. For "under the table" work, babysitting, gardening, or lawn mowing are available.

Sure. Businesses can't legally hire you but neighbors can. You can start a dog walking or pet sitting business. You can babysit. Doing gardening and lawn work is easy and can pay pretty good. If you're really smart with computers you can teach younger kids how to use them.
