You need to build a distiller first. To set up a fairly simple still you will need a pressure cooker, grid to go inside (keep the plant from touching water), curled copper pipe that fits where the outlet valve is, a collector and a seperatory funnel. The copper pipe needs to curl up and then down so it can drip into the collector (any glass container with a large opening will work). Attach the piping to the pressure cooker making sure you have good seals, fit the grid inside the pot so the plant material can't fall into the water. Every plant is different in heat sensitivity and quantity required. It will take a lot of material to make a small amount of oil. I would boil water for 15-20 min for peppermint. You will need the seperatory funnel to separate the water from oil in your collector. If you can't find one you will need another piece of pipe to go on the outside of the copper pipe, cold water is passed through this pipe to cool the steam so you only get oil in the collector.
