Discovered them today .any tips on getting rid of them naturally please no harsh chemicals?

It's pretty common at this time of year. First of all, make sure you keep your floors and surfaces completely clear of anything that might attract them (particularly sugary things).
Secondly, there aren't any 'natural' sprays for getting rid, unfortunately. Other than hoovering all the time, there isn't much you can do, other than spray. I found sprays that go directly into the cracks of the floor quite effective, and less messy than powder. We have a few ants here and there at the moment, but I can't tell where they are coming from, so I haven't bothered to treat it. There aren't enough to warrant it.

I don't know about the UK, but I have them here in the good ol' US of A. Lots of them too, used to be in the house in the winter and now they are everywhere in my yard. I have NEVER seen this many ants before at one time. What is causing them? I use Terro dust and Terro traps, they love the stuff, and it gets rid of them quickly.

Pour some sugar out away from your home leaving very tiny specks all of the way there. They will go to the sugar spill & live happily there away from your home.

yeh i had the same problem we called the council up and they came and stuck this thing with lots of tiny seeds thing in it and i think ants eat that and stop prosucing any more

we call them piss ants here in America,dont know why. try soap and water,in a spray bottle spray it on the ants,or ant traps, terminex works great (not sure if i spelled it right.)

Find their natural preditor, sadly for red ants they dont have many natural predators, for black ants its spiders and red ants...

yes, but i'm in the usa and i'm going to my dads for a month so hopefully not one ant will be found.
