web md is an awesome place for info, they have a pregnancy section and will email you weekly with what to expect, also if you live near a Publix sign up for their baby club, in addition to coupons and free products, they will give you a book on pregnancy and the first year. And your local library is also a good source of information as well as videos. So are shows like A Baby Story on The Learning Channel.

I use Babycenter.com it is wonderful, they send you e-mails weekly and let you know what you should be going threw week by week and also how much the baby has grown. It is a great website. If you have time, the book "what to expect when expecting is wonderful too. I never read that with my first child, but when I got pregnant the second time, my clinic gave away free copies. I will also list some of the other sites I enjoy looking at.

Try running a search on Yahoo or Google. I know that buying the book can be kind of expensive and if it is money that you are worried about go to ebay and see what the price is there. A lot of times you cann get a book for $10-$30 cheaper than in stores

I agree with the babycenter option. I ended up having my son prematurely before I could take any of the birthing classes offered at my hospital, and I was well prepared from what I had learned from babycenter. I know you are opposed to buying a book at this time, but if you ever consider doing so, they have also written an excellent book. It is available at the site.

Get What To Expect When You Are Expecting. Don't worry he'll figure everything out. I just hope he is a dad who doesn't mind participating in the diaper and feeding duties. Good luck with your first baby. And the best advice I can give you during your prenancy is to try and stay come because every feeling and emotion you have goes to your baby. A calm Mom = a callm baby.

Honestly, the best source of information during my pregnancies was a book. What to Expect When You're Expecting. It goes month by month and even shows a picture (drawn) of what you can expect to look like physically that month and what the baby looks like inside of you, symptoms (physical and emotional) that you might be going through at that stage, etc. I used it during every one of my four pregnancies just to remind myself. If you don't want to spend big money on a book, check on ebay and you can probably get it super cheap.

Ok ...well by the book anyway...there's one that I bought for my husband and he really likes it...it was written BY a MAN for a MAN about his wife's pregnancy. It's called "She's Having a baby and I'm having a Meltdown" It's really cute.
And for you...buy "What to Expect when your Expecting"...it was worth every penny...it's a really really good book.
For simple stuff, go to www.babyzone.com
You can print out all kinds of stuff, it gives you weekly updates, a daily calendar of development and things you can expect as your pregnancy progresses...there's even a place to help pick baby names...it's a really good site.
Congratulations and good luck!

try www.pregnancyweekly.com you can sign up for weekly emails that go through the different symptoms you could be experiencing, and anything else you might need to know about that particular week of pregnancy! If you don't like that one, go to www.babyfit.com I lived by these two websites during my last pregnancy, my husband and I both received the weekly emails, it helped with his anxiety about everything very very much, as this was his first baby. Congrats on the little one!!!

my favorite site is www.babycenter.com. when you conceive, they will send you weekly emails on how the baby is developing, what you can expect and lots of other neat tips. i printed these pages for my husband. easy site to use and free. after the baby is born you continue to get weekly updates and they are so helpful. as the baby gets older, you get less- like it changes to monthly, then yearly but still awesome. I use it as a research guide all the time.
