Here's the scoop - 03 F150 5 spd manual 2WD

I get a squeaking sound ONLY when I coast IN gear.

Out of gear (neutral), no squeak or when clutch is depressed no squeak.

Shifting is smooth and no clutch problems.

U-joints or throw out bearing?

a squeak or whittling noise tells me u joints, if it is more of a whining sound then it could be a bearing in the transmission going bad, start with the u joints first they are cheap
