Cyclops - from the comic, not the d!ldo from the movie.
His visor is supadope, he gets MAD play (really - read the comics), and is not afraid to lose his sanity when he finds out he's married a clone of his dead girlfriend who isn't really dead but was replaced by a cosmic entity who stole her identity... yeah. Plus the whole thing with one child of his who has like 3 identities and the other being a daughter from a future that doesn't exist... pretty interesting life this guys got. His dad abandoned him as a youth to go be an interstellar space pirate, and his brother shoots plasma. Cyclops has a lot going on... sheesh. But the visor - thats just money.

Gambit for the the fact that he is a Cajun/French! I also liked how he was once a bad guy, but later came over to the X-Men. I used to have his comic series, but alas, I don't remember much about his 'life'. You just got to love his playboy persona, exploding cards, and kung-fu type of engagement with his metal staff.

In the comics, Gambit was pretty cool in terms of overall look and dialogue, so many to choose from though. I'll go for the Beast though because he was very smart and witty, and blue.

THe Door has the best Support Power ever! if he stands against a wall you can walk through him.
As far as powers go Mikhail or Bishop are my favorite, both are from Age of Apocalypse. Bishop can absorb Kinetic Energy. Mikhail can warp reality.

Nightcrawler......
He has a different attitude than most of the X-men. He's very religious, even though it seems like someone who was born so disfigured would despise whatever made it....He's still very faithful. He has a lot of different personalities....depending on what you're looking at....In the movie, he's shy....in the cartoon, he's funny....sometimes he's a flirt, sometimes he's just mean....It's so confusing, seeing as how they change the character so much from story to story.....
Sincerely,
Sarah.

Rogue. Did anyone see X-men 3? If you haven't when the credits start DO NOT LEAVE!! There is a special scene after the credits that could mean there will be a X4. Ratner doesn't want to do it, but Fox hasn't said no.
Or yes, for that matter.

From the movie, Storm, because it's stonishing the ability to manipulate such a powerful thing as the weather! it seems to me as a great communication with the nature, and makes me feel as the human being - as a woman - completely in touch with the earth and the nature.

My favourite was always Rogue, but an older version as in the comics rather than the young Rogue we see in the films. Or possibly Mystique (although she was never an X-man) as it would be so cool to be able to be anyone you wanted.
