Disagree.....Love makes the world go round.
Today I was working with my students who are all poverty stricken. We were on a field trip in a very poor part of town.
We saw a large group of people in a park where we were going to picnic. As we approached we saw that they were all homeless people waiting in a line. I wanted my kids to see what was happening so we sat down and watched. Someone told me that a group of neighbors decided to come down to the park every day and feed the homeless. Sometimes, these women just sit outside on very hot days and provide cold water or juice for the homeless. My students were so overcome by the love that these women had..............and the gratitude of the homeless that they too started helping out. They wanted to pass out their lunches and shared many of their own treats, etc. with the people.
Money doesn't make the world go round.........love does.
And a group of women don't have to knock it off its axis........but they sure can make a difference.
