So hard to answer, I work with deaf children and blind children. The worlds are so much more different than you could even imagine without the experiences yourself. The thought of never hearing your child's voice, a bird sing, your lover sigh...or the thought of never seeing emotion in someones eyes, a babies smile, or a beautiful sunset. Life can be wonderful without either one, however..for me..I don't want to ever have to pick! I have seen the moments of pain from the deaf that couldn't hear a child and the blind that couldn't see to do simple things.

I would keep my eyes. Without them I wouldn't be able to see many of the beautiful things in life, like my daughter. I'd still be able to communicate w/my hands. If I lost my eyes, there's nothing that can replace that. At least I can see & commincate w/her having my eyes.

I will keep my eyes. I think it would be easier to be independent and deaf(but if I lose my ears only, I would still hear)

I'd keep my eyes, that way I could still drive. And fish, and hunt, and go bowling, and work, and wake board, and snow ski, and play pool, and go in a bar, and so on and so on.
