It's really best to not let kitty litter into your plumbing- most kinds clump up and you can have a very expensive repair bill from a plumber if you do it regularly.

It's much easier to bag your kitty litter along with your regular trash. Or if you really want to do something good for the environment, use the pine litter and when the kitty is finished using it, you can use it for mulch in your garden.

No, kitty litter is like clay and if it is the clumping variety may lump up and clog your drains.

Why would you even want to put it in your drains? Go out in the back yard and get some dirt to dump in your drains. It is more sanitary.

You can buy flushable kitty litter, but I don't think I would put it down the garbage disposal. You can even teach your cat to use the toilet.

Clay litter would clog you disposal. It would harden and cause BIG problems.

Sounds like a BAD idea.

If it's that clumping stuff ... have you ever seen how it stick to stuff. ACK!

And if it's not the clumping stuff ... that's just like pouring gravel in your disposal.
