i'm really young and i was just wondering. alot of people in my grade already have bf's.

16 at the youngest. Anything younger than that is really not a boyfriend. Having "boyfriends" when you're younger than that doesn't really make much sense. I'm 22. I tried "dating" when I was in middle school. My parents almost killed the little boys that were calling the house. You can't go anywhere without your parents, you shouldn't be having sex with boys, and at that age school is so very very important. Please, don't date until you're at least in high school.

Sweetie, you should always have friends. There's nothing wrong with that.
But if you get into "dating", you're setting yourself up to be alone with someone that you don't know if you can really trust to have your best interests in mind.
You should hang out with all of your friends, male and female, in groups and not go on dates alone.
The guys that are the sweetest and funniest are many times the worst people to be alone with.
Please talk to your youth pastor at your church or find a church that has a youth ministry and go to church. They can give you good advice, too.
Getting advice from people online can be very risky, and I hope that you are careful about who you're talking to on here.

There is no specific age that you should get a boyfriend. Matter of fact, sometimes it is more fun just to have lots of friends, both girls and guys, that you can hang out with. And just because a lot of people are doing it, doesn't mean it is right, or that you have to do it too.

I would say minimum late middle school (7th, 8th grade) and there is no maximum. Get a bf when you feel ready for it, and dont let anyone pressure you into getting one before you feel ready.

it depends if u r mature enough but i think between the ages of 10 and 11 but start out slow u dont want to get a reputation or anything

Honestly i think you should stay single till your out of high school. Being stuck to one person makes you miss out on a lot. Again i dont know how old you are but that would be my advice for a middle or high school student.

My daughter is not dating until she's 18, so is my son. Most of these boys now days just want to get in the girls skirt or jeans so they can have something to brag about with their friends.

you can have a boyfriend at any age but it means different things at different ages..don't get a serious boyfriend yet..no making out or sex ..you are too young..just enjoy your youth and have fun..bless you and good luck
