Why are you with him if (a) HE CHEATED ON YOU and (b) You haven't forgiven him? What is the point?
You should move on and you and your son can have a wonderful life together. The father doesn't have to live with you to take an active part in his child's life.
Good Luck

You shouldn't be back with him in the first place, but then again you need to think of your child first, that is now your first obligation, his happiness, the importance of not having a broken home is important. You said, "but now i know i dont want to play games with me or my sons life". Is he hitting you, or the child? You should let no one do that, especailly one who says they love you, let alone cheats on you. If he is hitting you or abusing you in anyway (including verbally) then you need to leave him, dont tell him where your going just leave, and call him later, alert the police, and get a restrainging order (that will scare him at least but some people are too crazy to care about a little peice of paper). Go and stay with someone you trust, yet he doesn't know of if possible.

If and only if you ever plan on forgiving him, you have to make him aware that what he does will directly influence his sons behavior now and in the future. He has to be a model for his son. If cheating is a behavior that the father feels is acceptable, so will your son and that is not acceptable.
If you don't plan on forgiving him, you have to kick him to the curb.

You honor the cherished wonder that is never to be dismissed no matter what you two personally are experiencing:
YOUR CHILD :)
After all, it's father's day. Take the high road and get him what you would think your child would get him. Naturally, you might be tempted to be EXTRA vengeful and only get him what your unemployed baby could afford. LOL umm, or not...
Best to you in this difficult time... :)

Father's Day is but, one day a year. It sounds as if you need to reflect on your relationship. Consider what needs to be done in order to improve your son's life, make a plan and then follow through. If you make a mistake, or falter, keep trying until you succeed in your goal.

You need to learn to forgive. Even though that was a horrible thing to do, you will never feel better about it until you forgive him. If you want to stay with him, you should show him what love looks like. Treat him like you want him to treat you. You are only hurting yourself keeping those emotions all built up.

Father's day is not for you, it is for the father of you child...you are trying to put yourself and your hate between the father and the child...not very nice, and in fact, stupid. Get over yourself, you have a child to raise with the father, even though you two are no longer a twosome.

You don't have to give him anything. You didn't mention how old your kid is but if he is older than 5 he will give him something from school, so don't worry about it!
