Hi I'm 11 approaching 12 in a week. And My friend at school said black people are descendents of Caine from the bible. And umm god cursed caine and turned his skin black and now black people are cursed with demons or something. I just want to know if its true.
Cuz I think that they may have tricked white people into coming here.

No more than any other earth dwelling human. Where does it say Caine turned black or anything else? It just says a mark was put on him so he in turn wouldn't be murdered. Nobody got tricked into coming to America. Most came out of desperation. Black people were literally forced. Don't put the blame on your friend, look these things up. And don't listen to friends who give you bad advice. ( Yada - yada - yada. )

Don't listen to the first answer they never read a Bible.Read your Bible the story about Cain and Able. Its says that Cain was banished to the land of the sun which in those days was not the far east it was Africa. Now if you are religious and you believe in the Bible there will give you just about every answer you will need and will also raise a few but it really doesn't matter how the first black person came about as long as your friend and you get along and hopefully live long lasting lives and stay friends then how could that be a curse?Hope this helps you!

My friend, the bible is not an accurate nor authoritative historical document, so use it for inspiration, but not education. It's been altered, rewritten, and edited from the very beginning to suit the political objectives of the powers that be. The lessons are to be remembered, but the stories are just stories. Truth is timeless and you don't need to read 2000 year old stories to get it.
No doubt your friend who told you that is white. And if you are black, they told it to you to plant seeds of doubt and inferiority. Avoid this person, and live your life to make all of your dreams and desires happen, like the child of God that you are. :)

My father once told me that Africans were descended from Canaan, one of the grandsons of Noah, because he looked upon his father's nakedness once when his father was drunk. (After the flood, Noah grew a vineyard and invented wine.) Later on, while reading the Bible, I read that passage in Genesis, and it does say that the Canaanites were cursed. But it also says that Ham, one son of Noah, was "Swarthy" or dark-skinned. Ham was not the father of Canaan. Shem was. My father was using the Bible to justify his racism, and I was so hurt inside to discover that fact in him, but that was the way he grew up.

I always heard the we were descendents of Cush. Anyone can have demons. The last part of your questions about blacks tricking whites to come over here...well I think in your heart that you really know that it is not true.

Yes, they are cursed with people like you asking these kinds of absolutely ridiculous questions. Even at 12 years old you should know better. Talk to your parents, minister, priest or teacher.

No. God loves us just as mush as he loves you. Think of the isrealites and how much they suffered in Egypt under the rule of Pharoah. They were slaves too, but God loved them and commanded that Pharoah let his people go. God is a loving god. He loves everyone. Only human beings are ignorant to be discriminatory.

I'm guessing that's not true. You're not a racist for asking that, so don't listen to anyone who calls you that. Black people aren't cursed any more than white, Chinese, Mexican, or whatever race you want to substitute.

That has to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life. Tell your friend at school that he/ she is an idiot and that God is likely to strike him/ her down with lightning for such hateful lies. I would be afraid to even repeat such hate. That is horrible. Just horrible. So the answer to your question is no.

*sigh* Don't believe a word this person is asking. In one of his previous questions "Why is it that Black people created.....?", At the end he says he is a "...gay MAN and a gay journalist....". He just wants to stir up some sh*t!
