I would rather be dirt poor. I still have a heart. Being filthy rich isn't everything. Think about the hated people would eventually drive that person crazy. That person is so hated that they probably wouldn't even leave the house. What is money going to be good for then? If you were dirt poor and people liked you, they are your money. They would provide you with food and shelter most likely. So yea i would rather be dirt poor and liked.

I'd rather be dirt poor, loved, and happy than rich and hated. Sure a good sum of money is nice, but what happens when you have more money than you can count? You're still not happy because you have all that money can buy and you have nothing left to want except the things that can't be bought and by then it's too late unless you are one of the rarities that donates millions to Ethiopia

Dirt poor and liked, who really would rather be rich and hated then have people who love them even though they're poor.

i cant stand both ,

i can never be dirt poor , even if i'm poor i cant live in dirt , and despite i like to be filthy rich , but i cant live as a hated person , if i'm rich i would be good to everybody , i cant live a moment as hated .

but you know what ? anybody in such situation and he has to choose , i think that after all , he will choose - with his deep sorrow - to be filthy rich and he would try to change his image , but nobody will choose to be dirt poor , never , even if everybody applause to him , not only like him , because they will all go home after that , and live him in dirt ....

ok , filthy rich and hated, with my deep sorrow and sadness ...

See that's an interesting question. I don't care what people think. I care somewhat, what they do, but I don't care what people think. So I could want to be rich, but there are some SERIOUS PROs to being poor and SERIOUS CONS to being rich and I'm pretty sure I don't need to explain myself on that one. POOR & LOVED would be awesome. POOR and HATED would be deal-able, so long as no one was acting upon their hate.
