If you want to get your upper body in better shape this is a great exercise for you.
You also might consider trying to carry it up and down the stairs 3 or 4 times each time you take it out.

Mine's been in the window for three years now and I've not moved it since I put it in,only time you need to take it out is to clean , repair , replace , or do away with it

Nope it is designed to withstand all weather conditions, besides when you do take it out you are gonna have a big whole in the wall....can we say flood?

thatd be inconvenient, and americans dont like that so the engineers made it so it could endure rain, so no you dont have to, but it will make it last longer if you do.
