Before anyone gets offended, this is realll just a matter of opinion. :

There are several people who could get this spot. Dwayne Wade is a good choice, since most people that would argue against him forget that he took the Heat to playoffs before Shaq got there. Tim Duncan is also, just count his rings. Kobe Bryant and Allen Iverson are going to be the unpopular picks because they have very polarizing personalities. Either you love them or hate them, but they sure can score. Steve Nash deserves to be in this argument too. Consecutive MVP's for a team that is horrible on paper, especially without Amare Stoudemire. Garnett should get some consideration, but he just can't win in the playoffs. The list goes on and on...

The most interesting, and my pick, is Dirk Nowitzki. I am not a Dallas Mavericks fan, and I very much dislike Mark Cuban, but Nowitzki is an opposing coache's nightmare. Avery Johnson has gotten him to play like the big man people thought he would become yet he is a perimeter threat too. A 7' big forward that can play inside/outside like him causes mismatches all over the floor. IMO, Dwayne Wade and Shaq will beat Nowitzki in the finals this year, but small athletic guards are much easier to find than 7 footers with Dirk's quickness and skill-set.

I would go with Kobe he is a great player. If he could spread the bal out to his teamates like he did in the suns series they would be higher than a 7th seed. He is a warrior. He has experierence, talent, and he is clutch. He can do anything on the basketball court. He is one of the best defensive guards in the NBA he does get cold sometimes but many times he can light it up. He can lead a team and is the best 4th Quarter player in the NBA,

Kobe Bryant would be my guy for the #2 pick...
He is the highest scoring player in the league and he would also give solid numbers of steals, assists, and rebounds to your fantasy team. His shooting percentages are great too for a guard, he is no Allen Iverson. Kobe is going to be in his prime next year produce even better numbers than last year... he has been in the NBA a long time, but remember he is still young... so he will be better. Also Kobe doesn't get injured often so it is a good bet he will produce all season long.

JJ Reddick if he was in the NBA rite now, and he will go top 8 in the 2006 draft. until hes not in the nba, #2 has to be Steve Nash because ,"even when he could have the spotlight to himself, he passed!!!"

CHECK OUT THIS CLIP, AND TELL ME WHY HE SHOULDNT BE #2, or even #1.

Dwayne Wade. He just lights up the floor, and dominates. That's why the Heat are in the finals, plus Shaq.

i have to admit dwayne wades been amazing in the playoffs but id have to go with kobe bryant because he was just outstanding this year. 81 points thats just crazy. he has the second most points in a game. and he was averaging over 30 points a game.
