miscarriages are never normal but it is common for that to occur

Unfortunately, miscarriage is a very common occurance. My doctor said that 20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. It is predicted however, that as many as 50% of all babies conceived are miscarried, before the woman even realises that she is pregnant. Miscarriage can be caused by a number of things.

I'm going to provide you with the link to a miscarriage forum that I found very supportive when I had my miscarriage at 11 weeks and 4 days.

I had a miscarriage between my pregnancies. My daughter was eight. It was very difficult but I felt comfort in the knowledge that I had already had a healthy baby. It took us two years to get pg again. But we now have happy healthy one year old twin sons. (We didn't even use fertility treatments.) I just figure one was waiting for the other so they could always be together. Be positive and take care of yourself and it will work out.

A miscarriage is usually a sign that something *isn't* normal. But they happen frequently to *all* women--whether they have had a child in the past or not.

Its not normal, but miscarriages can happen to anyone regardless of whether or not you've had a baby

Unfortunately miscarriages can happen at any time to anyone, regardless of history.
